The Midland, Texas-based company said it had net income of 11 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 4 cents per share.

The oilfield services company posted revenue of $282.7 million in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Nine analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $273.3 million.
