MIDLAND, Texas (AP) _ ProPetro Holding Corp. (PUMP) on Tuesday reported a loss of $32.9 million in its second quarter.

The Midland, Texas-based company said it had a loss of 32 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment costs and non-recurring costs, came to 29 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 26 cents per share.

The oilfield services company posted revenue of $315.1 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $310.6 million.
