Prosper Construction Holdings Limited provided earnings guidance for the year ended 31 December 2022. The Group is expected to record a decrease of not less than 35% in profit for the 2022 as compared to the year ended 31 December 2021. Such decrease in profit was mainly attributable to (i) additional costs incurred for the Group's marine construction projects in Macao; (ii) depreciation and maintenance costs incurred on idle vessels and equipment; and (iii) written-off of trade receivables of approximately HKD 8.8 million upon conclusion of final account settlement on previously completed projects.

Furthermore, based on the currently available information, despite the Group is expected to report a profit for the 2022, it is expected to report a loss to equity holders of the Company for the FY2022 since a portion of the profit is attributable to non-controlling interests of certain subsidiaries of the Company.
