Prosperity Dielectrics Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,460.606 million compared to TWD 1,080.425 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 245.278 million compared to TWD 188.558 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 270.821 million compared to TWD 93.010 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.57 compared to TWD 0.54 a year ago.
PROSPERITY DIELECTRICS CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture, processing and sales of semiconductor components. The Companyâs primary products include ceramic dielectric powders, disc type semi-conductive capacitor elements, multilayer ceramic chip capacitors, chip resistors, diodes and coils. The Companyâs products are mainly used in the manufacturing of circuits and elements for information, communication and consumer electronic products. The Company mainly operates through two business segments: Taiwan segment and the Mainland China segment. The Company mainly distributes its products in domestic markets and to overseas markets, including the rest of Asia, the Americas and Europe.
