BCA Launched Cross-Generation Inspiration Class at IKF IV Forum

Jakarta, 7 October 2015 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) - through its BCA Learning Service division - returned with Indonesia Knowledge Forum (IKF) IV on 7-8 October 2015. The forum served as part of BCA's commitment and support for the development and advancement of Indonesia's human ressource quality.

Republic of Indonesia Minister of Communication and Information Rudiantara opened IKF IV this year, as well as provided the keynote speech for the event, which had selected 'Moving Our Nation to the Next Level: Utilizing Knowledge for Sustainable Innovation Across Generation' as its theme. BCA President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk Independent Commissioner and BCA Learning Service Founder Cyrillus Harinowo, as well as PT Bank Central Asia Tbk board of directors attended the opening ceremony. The forum will be concluded by DKI Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama with an inspirational speech entitled 'Finding New Ways by Utilizing Knowledge'.

IKF is an annual event by BCA presented by BCA Learning Service in support of Indonesia's human resource development, Jahja explained. BCA Learning Service first launched IKF in 2012 to great public enthusiasm, which led to its development as an annual event. This is the fourth year for IKF, Indonesia's largest 'Knowledge Fest'. By focusing on the comprehensive 'Moving Our Nation to the Next Level' theme, IKF hoped to establish a spirit of nation-building through knowledge, and become one of the leading national mobilizers and advocate, both in Indonesia and abroad.

'We see the optimism and the strength of determination from the Indonesian people, especially to reach changes and advancements in ever sector. These qualities must be supported through adequate learning from the right people, who are experts and experienced in their fields,' Jahja continued.

The two-day IKF IV Forum event will feature speakers, such as:

Jahja explained how IKF IV Forum is a result of the trust the public had given BCA for their banking needs. 'This forum is part of our effort to manifest the public's trust in BCA into something advantageous, such as BCA Learning Service, who had formulated the event to add to the value of human ressource development for generations to come,' Jahja concluded.
