The innovative surface B-Materia by RAK Ceramics received the Archiproducts Design Award 2022, a prestigious international prize celebrating worldwide design excellence organized by Archiproducts. B-Materia, an exclusive collection launched during the 2022 edition of Cersaie, is a fusion of earthen materials - the timeless beauty of marble and the charm of the stone. A new design concept that blends into both traditional and modern environments, available in two complementary colours.
The Archiproducts Awards aims to reward the world's state-of-the-art for originality, research, and innovation. B-Materia impressed the jurors, made up of the most influential figures in architecture and design, with its unique design concept, creativity, and innovation of merging two different natural surfaces into one tile.
RAK Ceramics also won the Archiproducts Design Award in 2021, with Preziosi slabs under the finishes category and RAK-Valet by Patrick Norguet under the Bathroom category. This was made possible by RAK Ceramics' continuous pursuit of design excellence and pushing the boundaries of product and process innovation.
