ResortTrust Inc. reported earnings results for the six months ended September 2016. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 65,207 million against JPY 65,721 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 4,727 million against JPY 8,870 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 4,761 million against JPY 9,570 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 3,612 million against JPY 7,062 million a year ago. Net assets per share was JPY 971.53 against JPY 1,021.17 a year ago. Net income per diluted share was JPY 31.17 against JPY 61.23 a year ago. Net cash provided by operating activities was JPY 5,616 million against net cash used in operating activities of JPY 1,921 million a year ago.
For the year ending March 2017, the company expects net sales of JPY 152,000 million, operating income of JPY 14,200 million, ordinary income of JPY 15,100 million and net income of JPY 10,200 million.
Resorttrust Inc is a Japan-based company mainly involved in the construction and operation of membership hotels and golf courses, the sale of memberships, as well as medical businesses. The Company operates through three segments. The Membership segment is engaged in the development of membership hotels and the sale of various memberships. The Hotel Restaurant segment is mainly involved in the operation of restaurants and resort hotels under the names XIV, BAYCOURT CLUB, SUN MEMBERS and HOTEL TRUSTY, as well as the provision of hotel cleaning services, and on-life insurance agency services. The Medical segment is engaged in the sale and management of medical memberships, as well as the provision of medical consulting services. In addition, the Company is also engaged in real estate rental business and villa management business.
