RTX: new CEO appointed for 2024

As part of a planned management transition, RTX reports that its Chief Operating Officer (COO) Christopher Calio will succeed Gregory Hayes as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), at the annual meeting scheduled for May 2, 2024.

Gregory Hayes will continue to serve as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. Christopher Calio has also been appointed to the aerospace and defense group's board of directors.

In his current role, he oversees the three divisions (Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney and Raytheon), as well as numerous group-wide functions such as engineering, digital and supply chain.

(Delware) and Vice President-Financial Planning & Analysis at Hamilton Sundstrand Corp. Gregory J. Hayes received an undergraduate degree from Purdue University.
