Farmers Bank Limited announced that it expects to receive BDT 7.15 billion in funding from Sonali Bank Limited, Janata Bank Limited, Agrani Bank Limited, Rupali Bank Limited, Investment Corporation of Bangladesh

Farmers Bank Limited announced that it will receive an BDT 7,150,000,000 in an equity round of funding on May 9, 2018. The transaction will include participation from Sonali Bank Limited, Janata Bank Limited, Agrani Bank Limited, Rupali Bank Limited (DSE:RUPALIBANK) for proceeds of TBK 1,650,000,000 each, and Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (DSE:ICB) for proceeds of TBK 550,000,000. Post the closing, the registered capital will increase from BDT 4,010,000,000 to BDT 15,000,000,000.
