As a part of SaltX's preparation for its next phase of industrialization and commercialization, the nomination committee ofSaltX Technology Holding AB (publ) ("SaltX" or the "Company") proposes the election of a new Chairman and three new Board members at the 2024 Annual General Meeting.

The nomination committee of SaltX's proposals for resolution at the Annual General Meeting on 25 April 2024 regarding the number of Board members as well as the election of Board members and Chairman of the Board has today been submitted to the Company.

The nomination committee of SaltX proposes that the 2024 Annual General Meeting elects six ordinary Board members with no deputies.

The nomination committee proposes the re-election of Board members Staffan Andersson and Per Bodén and the new election of Andreas Nordbrandt, Tobias Elmquist, Björn Jonsson, and Karin van der Salm as Board members. The Nomination Committee proposes a new election of Andreas Nordbrandt as Chairman of the Board.

In close dialogue with the nomination committee, the current Board members, Åke Sund (Chairman of the Board), Tony Grimaldi, Hans Holmström, and Elin Lydahl, have declined re-election.

The nomination committee consists of Peter Wolpert (appointed by Industrifonden, Chairman of the nomination committee), Daniel Juvél (appointed by SMA Mineral AB), and Niklas Sjöblom (appointed by Konstakademien).

Andreas Nordbrandt (proposed new member and Chairman), independentin relation to the Company and its management as well as major shareholders in the Company.

Andreas Nordbrandt, born in 1971, has a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Linköping University of Technology and has long and solid industrial experience in a global environment, above all in international mining operations. For over 22 years, he held senior positions within Atlas Copco/Epiroc. He worked internationally towards approximately 60 markets with development, marketing, manufacturing, spare parts, and service of rock drilling equipment above, and under, ground worldwide, including as division manager (2014-2018) and with various aftermarket responsibilities (2007-2014), including in Australia (2009-2012).

Andreas was CEO and co-owner of the wooden house company Mälarvillan (2019-2021). Since 2021, Andreas has been a board member of Sandvik AB and chairman of the board of Alleima AB.

Tobias Elmquist, dependent in relation to major shareholders in the Company, independent in relation to the company and its management.
                              
Tobias Elmquist, born in 1974, holds a master's degree in industrial economics from Chalmers University of Technology and has 25 years of management and investment experience in innovative growth companies in Sweden and internationally. He has mainly been active in the manufacturing industry, as well as the transport and logistics sector. Tobias has worked since 2022 as Senior Investment Director at Industrifonden. Before that, he was a Partner at Maersk Growth (2019-2020), Investment Director at Chalmers Ventures (2016-2019), and Investment Director at Volvo Group Venture Capital (2007-2015). Tobias is a board member of AlixLabs AB, Barnebys Group AB, Texray AB, and Zeropoint Technologies AB.

Björn Jonsson, dependent in relation to major shareholders in the Company [1], independent in relation to the Company and its management.                     

Björn Jonsson, born 1978, holds a master's degree in electrical engineering from Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan, Stockholm, and a master's degree in international business from Stockholm University. Björn has extensive experience in construction projects within industrial process automation and electrification and is currently responsible for a global operation within ABB targeting the mining industry. With more than 20 years at ABB, he has held many different leading positions within and outside of Sweden in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Björn is currently on SVEMIN's board (since 2016) and has previously been on Svenska ABB AB's board (2020-2023) and the board of SynerLeap (2017-2023), which works with industrial startup companies.
 
Karin Van der Salm, independent in relation to the Company and its management as well as major shareholders in the Company.       

Karin van der Salm, born in 1969, holds a master's degree in chemical engineering from Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, and has 25 years of leadership experience in business, public companies, and institutes. Karin has been CEO of Gryaab in Gothenburg since 2017. Before her role as CEO, Karin was responsible for project management and strategic planning at Gryaab for five years. Karin has also been an expert in government investigations regarding biogas and circular society for Swedish Water and has performed due diligence assignments in innovative technologies for the European Investment Bank. Before Gryaab, Karin worked, among other things, at the COWI group, nationally and internationally, with market development (2010-2013) and as division manager (2008-2010) in areas such as bioenergy and process technology.
