Sanditon Investment Trust plc is an investment trust, which is engaged in portfolio investment. The Trust's investment objective is to deliver absolute returns of at least 2% per annum, compounded annually, above retail prices index excluding mortgage interest payments (RPIX), and be an asset diversifier for shareholders by targeting low correlation with leading large capitalization equity indices. It utilizes derivative instruments, including contracts for differences and other equity-related derivative instruments, for investment purposes, portfolio management and gearing. It has investments in various countries, such as the United Kingdom, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy and Netherlands. It invests in listed equity securities of companies, which are incorporated in, or which derive a proportion of their revenues or profits from, or which are operating in, the European Union, the European Economic Area or Switzerland. Its investment manager is Sanditon Asset Management Limited.
