The team, consisting of Frankie Wood, Nicholas Golding, Phoenix Chow, Joshua O'Rourke, Hayley Borland, Izzy Trompetas, James Dix, James Greenslade and Harriet Fuller, completed the challenge in 23 hours and 43 minutes, an impressive time considering the wet, windy and unpredictable weather over the weekend.

Tim Stoyle, head of UK hotels at Savills, says: 'A massive well done to the team on completing the Three Peaks Challenge and raising money to help a charity that is very close to us supporting the hospitality industry, a sector that has been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic. A special thanks goes to all those who have donated and supported the team, particularly our main t-shirt sponsors: Lamington Group, David Harper and Jonathan Harris.'

Astrid Wears-Taylor Fundraising & Events Director, Hospitality Action, adds: 'During the pandemic, we've seen thousands of hospitality people lose their jobs and suffer unimaginable hardships. Throughout this time, Hospitality Action has continued to provide financial relief for people who had found themselves suddenly unemployed as well as those facing longer-term challenges, including those experiencing life-changing illness, debt, bereavement, domestic abuse, mental health or addiction problems. We're truly delighted with the phenomenal amount of money raised by the Savills Three Peaks Challenge Team this weekend. These funds will enable us to support many more hospitality families over the coming months. A huge thanks to everyone who participated, we really can't thank you enough for your kind support.'

Frankie Wood, Associate, Savills Hotel Capital Markets, comments: 'I am incredibly proud of the team for completing the Three Peaks Challenge within the 24 hour target time despite the ominous weather conditions and raising well over £6k (including gift aid) for Hospitality Action. Our hike across the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales covered a total distance of 22 miles (35km) with a total ascent of approximately 3,000 metres (c.10,000 ft). During the challenge we battled through rain on every peak, midges on Ben Nevis, 3am river crossings and 30mph+ winds.'

Robert Godwin, Managing Director, Lamington Group, adds: 'We are pleased to be supporting those seeking change and improvement across the industry, at a time that is particularly relevant given the challenges the hospitality sector has faced over the last 18 months or so. Well done to Savills for showing the initiative to undertake the challenge and hit the funding target.'
