Schroder Real Estate Investment Trust Limited announced that Oosterom will succeed Duncan Owen, who has been working at the firm for nine years. Owen will step down from the role this December. He will remain with the 19.2bn Schroders Real Estate unit in the role of a special adviser. Duncan will continue to advise the Schroders UK REIT and the SREIM board in connection to the newly acquired Schroders Pamfleet entity in Asia, where he will have a board seat. In the new role, Oosterom will manage the direct as well as indirect real estate portfolio. She most recently served as the CEO and CIO of EMEA at CBRE Global Investors, with responsibility for the region's investment strategy and performance, underwriting and programme development.
