Science Applications International Corp. named its next chief financial officer tapping Prabu Natarajan to succeed current CFO Charlie Mathis, who announced in August that he would retire in 2021. Natarajan comes from Northrop Grumman Corp., where he has worked for the past nine years, most recently as vice president of financial planning, mergers and acquisitions and government compliance, as well as acting vice president of tax. He will assume the SAIC executive vice president and CFO role on January 4, 2021. Mathis previously said he will remain with the company until January 29, 2021 to ensure a smooth transition. Natarajan also previously served as CFO of Northrop's information systems sector and as corporate vice president and treasurer, following tenures at The AES Corporation (and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP's Washington branch.
