Sea Sonic Electronics Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 923.53 million compared to TWD 683.89 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 193.02 million compared to TWD 97.61 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.41 compared to TWD 1.22 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.23 compared to TWD 1.15 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 1,651.91 million compared to TWD 1,324.19 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 325.37 million compared to TWD 238.73 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 4.07 compared to TWD 2.99 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 3.77 compared to TWD 2.79 a year ago.
Sea Sonic Electronics Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in the development, design, research, manufacture and distribution of switching power supplies (SPSs). The Company operates its businesses through personal computer segment, which provides ATX12V series, TFX12V series, industrial computer mini 1U series and industrial computer 1U/2U series, among others, as well as non-PC segment, which offers open frame series and desktop adapters. Its products are applied primarily in desktops, servers and communication network mainframes, among others. The Company distributes its products mainly to overseas markets.
