Peter Laurits, whom the Board of Directors has appointed as SeaTwirl's new CEO, has a solid knowledge of the Company. Peter has worked for more than two years on SeaTwirl's Board of Directors, both during the time when Roger Cederberg was chairman, and with Jens Tommerup. During this time, Peter Laurits has among other things been a valuable resource for SeaTwirl's team in business negotiations with potential partners and international business development.

Peter Laurits has a long experience of international sales, of Swedish innovations, to more than 20 countries. Peter has been working within various commercial roles and as a CEO of several high-tech companies. He holds a Master of Science degree in Electronics from Chalmers, supplemented with management and economics studies from the Stockholm Business School of Economics and American education institutions.

'I see it as a great honor to have the opportunity and the confidence from the Board to work with such an innovative and exciting concept as SeaTwirl's and to be able to offer the world better and more efficient energy. I also look forward to join the strong and constantly growing SeaTwirl team on an operational level to jointly bring SeaTwirl's products to the world market and take the company to a new level.' says Peter Laurits.

Peter Laurits will immediately take over as CEO and will work in parallel with outgoing interim CEO Peter Schou during a transition period.
'The Board welcomes Peter Laurits as CEO and at the same time thanks Peter Schou's for his efforts as interim CEO during the spring. We wish them both the best of luck during the handover period and look forward to Peter Laurits coming in operationally with his strong commercial drive and putting his mark on the company,' says Klementina Österberg, Chairman of SeaTwirl's Board.

SeaTwirl develops the future floating wind turbines in a simple and robust design that reduces costs at every stage, from installation to maintenance. In recent years, the company has gone from prototype to developing a version of a 1MW, S2 wind turbine. Now, SeaTwirl is in an expansion phase with a focus on the market and the upscaling of 'S2'.
