Secure Trust Bank : STB REF appoints Mike Feasey as relationship director

Secure Trust Bank Real Estate Finance (STB REF) has strengthened its newly formed deal origination team in Reading with the appointment of Mike Feasey as relationship director.

Mike, who has more than ten years' experience in the banking sector, joins STB REF from Handelsbanken, where he was a senior corporate manager.

During his career, Mike has worked in a number of different roles and banking functions, including credit and portfolio management.

At STB REF, he will focus on deal origination and management of a portfolio of clients with debt requirements of £2m - £50m for residential property investment and development in the UK.

Chris Daly, head of origination for the Midlands and South at STB REF, said: "Mike has a wealth of experience and strong track record in the banking sector and we're pleased to have secured his services as part of the Reading Real Estate Finance team.

"Mike will play a key role in helping to generate new business as we look to increase our loan book to provide the funding to support the region's residential property investors and developers."

Secure Trust Bank's Real Estate Finance team provides lending facilities to residential property developers and investors, from SME housebuilders to UK-based funds.

In its pre-close trading update, the bank announced record lending to real estate customers in December.
