SIGMA CAPITAL GROUP PLC This month, Steven Brewster, Investment and Acquisitions Director for Sigma Capital took part in a 4x4x48 challenge to raise money for Run For Heroes.
Part of a team of seven, the challenge saw them run four miles every four hours over a 48-hour period, all while raising money for the charity!
Between them, the raised £8,000, of which Sigma donated £1,000. The fundraise will be used to supporting the following initiatives:
- Mental health support
- Support for NHS workers welfare & wellbeing
- Youth & disability initiatives that promote greater community inclusion within sport
- Initiatives that actively encourage public participation in sport
The team said:
'The 4x4x48 challenge was mentally and physically draining, especially through the night. Thankfully we had great support from so many people and the money raised is all for a great cause. Knowing we could help people in need right now made the whole experience much more enjoyable for all of us!'
