Dear Dr. Ohler,

Dear members of the Supervisory Board,

Dear Dr. Heckmeier,

Dear Ms. Schmitt,

Dear Shareholders,

I am very pleased to address you personally as a guest at today's Annual General Meeting of Siltronic AG.

I am Klaus Buchwald, 55 years old, and I have 30 years of professional experience in the field of Operations. Since 1998, I have been able to apply my knowledge of production and logistics, which I acquired at the management consultancy CON MOTO, in various management positions at Infineon Technologies AG. During those 25 years, I was a Board member overseeing Operations in two divisions, responsible for planning and performance controlling of the wafer fab production network at Group level, and managed two production sites over a period of five years. For the past three years, I was also responsible for the IT side of production, with a special focus on digitalization and artificial intelligence.

During this time, I got to know and appreciate Siltronic as a competent and reliable partner in the semiconductor industry. Through my responsibilities, I also had direct contact with Siltronic on several occasions.

This was an important factor in my decision to switch to Siltronic. It is a great acknowledgement but also a challenge for me to become Chief Operating Officer of such a successful company as of June 1. Even in my discussions with the Supervisory Board last year, I sensed that Siltronic is a very special company. With my strategic and fact-oriented approach and an eye for

operational implementation, I look forward to shaping a successful future together with the entire Siltronic team.

In my previous contacts with the members of the Supervisory Board and the extended management circle, and especially with you, dear Ms. Schmitt and Mr. Heckmeier, I could sense a very positive working atmosphere and effective teamwork, which I am very much looking forward to.

The semiconductor industry is a sector full of innovations, which is also characterized by short product lifecycles and strong fluctuations in demand. Future-oriented, fast but also ambitious decisions and the challenge to transfer new innovations into volume production have shaped me. These skills are also of central importance at Siltronic.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a few words of gratitude that are particularly close to my heart:

Thank you to the entire Supervisory Board of Siltronic AG. I appreciate the trust placed in me and, in particular, the opportunity to play a key role in the continued development of this outstanding company. In close cooperation with you, I would like to continue the company's successful course together with my colleagues on the Executive Board and the Siltronic team.

Dear Ms. Schmitt, dear Mr. Heckmeier,

I am particularly looking forward to working with you and I am convinced that we will complement each other perfectly with our experience.

Dear shareholders, I am very excited about positioning Siltronic for the challenges ahead and seizing the enormous opportunities just described by Mr. Heckmeier. I will quickly familiarize myself with the company's strategy and develop it together with the Executive Board and the management team to create value for all the company's stakeholders.

I am very much looking forward to our teamwork and dialogue, and with that, I return the floor to Mr. Ohler.
