SiriusXM is sad to report that rapper Young Dolph, best known for his 2020 album Rich Slave and collaborations with his cousin Key Glock, was shot and killed in his native Memphis, TN. He was 36.

Young Dolph, whose real name was Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., dropped his debut studio album, King of Memphis, in 2016. The album reached No. 49 on the Billboard 200 chart, a record he topped in 2020 with his seventh album, Rich Slave, which reached No. 4.

Throughout the day, tune in to Hip Hop Nation (Ch. 44) to hear special tributes to Young Dolph. Additionally, revisit his exclusive interview with host Gray Rizzy - in which the rapper talks about working with Megan Thee Stallion and Juicy J and more - from 2020 here now.
