Goseong Offshore & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. announced a private placement of 1,746,000 shares at a price of KRW 10,000 for proceeds of KRW 17,460,000,000 on June 8, 2017. The transaction will include participation from new investor, Samkang M&T Co., Ltd (KOSDAQ:A100090). Post the closing, the investor will hold 14.86% stake in the company. The securities will be issued through 3rd party allotment method. Post the closing of the transaction, the number of shares will increase from 5,930,000 to 7,676,000. The payment date is July 31, 2017. The transaction is approved by the board of directors of the company.
