SLC Agrícola holds Farm Day event at Fazenda Pamplona (GO)

On July 4th, SLC Agrícola held the latest edition of Farm Day, an event that seeks to offer shareholders, market analysts and stakeholders a glimpse into day-to-day operations at the company's production units. Fazenda Pamplona farm, which is located in Goiás, was selected as offering the ideal setting for the event. This farm was the first to be acquired by SLC Agrícola in 1980, marking the start of a movement towards establishing the Brazilian 'Cerrado' (savanna) as a key center for agribusiness.

Several topics of discussion were addressed at Farm Day, including agricultural production, sustainability, technology, and innovation and efficiency in agribusiness, seeking to offer participants an immersive experience at the facility. SLC Agrícola's corporate officers and managers provided panel presentations on High-Level Operational Efficiency, Agricultural Intelligence, the Circular Economy, and 2030 Zero Carbon targets.

The event also offered participants experiences at four different stations. Two of these stations were assembled in the facility's fields and offered information and demonstrations of cotton harvesting processes, the operation of irrigation pivots, and the use of drones and high-tech agricultural machines. Presentations at the third station were held at the site's cotton processing plant, where participants were able to observe the different stages of the cotton processing process. The fourth station, referred to as Take-up, offered participants an up close look at the cotton classification process.

Farm Day offers participants a truly unique experience and has established itself as a key date on SLC Agrícola's annual event calendar. Next year's event will seek to further highlight successful practices that have ensured that the company consistently achieves key results year after year.

"Farm Day fulfilled its main purpose, which was to bring investors and analysts, the majority of whom live in urban regions of the country, closer to the day-to-day reality at our farm and the technologies and infrastructure that are part of modern grain and cotton production," Ivo Brum, Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer at SLC Agrícola, affirmed.
