SMB Finance PLC is a Sri Lanka-based leasing company. The Company is primarily engaged in providing finance leases, mortgage loans, personal loans, and gold loans and obtaining fixed deposits. The Company’s segments include leasing, loans, treasury, and money brokering. The leasing segment provides leasing facilities to acquire movable properties such as motor cars, buses, trucks, and machinery. The loans segment provides loan facilities to acquire movable and immovable properties and personal loans such as land, motor cars and personal loans. The treasury segment is engaged in investing activities such as placement with banks, repurchase agreements (REPOS) and treasury bonds. The money brokering segment is engaged in money brokering activities such as call money, foreign exchange (FOREX), treasury bills and treasury bonds. The Company’s products include SMB Quick Cash, SMB Biz Cash and SMB Leases. Its subsidiary SMB Money Brokers (Pvt) Ltd is engaged in money brokering activities.
