Soda Nikka Co., Ltd. provided consolidated earnings guidance for the first half and full year of fiscal year ending March 31, 2022. For the first half, the company expects net sales to be JPY 25,300 million. Operating profit to be JPY 500 million. Profit to be JPY 450 million. Basic earnings per share to be JPY 18.14.
For the full year, the company expects net sales to be JPY 51,700 million. Operating profit to be JPY 1,060 million. Profit to be JPY 1,050 million. Basic earnings per share to be JPY 42.33.

Chemicals business sells soda products, secondary soda products, ammonia-based products, other inorganic chemicals, chlorine-based, fluorine-based, and petroleum-based solvents, petrochemicals, and organic fine chemicals to the markets of chemistry, paper pulp, food and detergents, and government agencies.
