FTSE SMALL CAP - WINNERS

Sogefi rises 33 percent after it announced that it has doubled its earnings in 2023 and, as part of a process to enhance the value of its Filtration division, that it has signed a put option agreement with the U.S. investment fund Pacific Avenue Capital Partners, under which two vehicles referring to the fund have made commitments to acquire the entire share capital of Sogefi Filtration and Sogefi USA. The Filtration division will operate under the name Purflux Group if the transaction is completed.

EPH gains 9.1 percent, with shares still well below the one-cent mark.

Same story and same percentage gain for Eems Italia, which sees 4.4 million changed hands today for 20 contracts.

CIR marks a rise of 8.3%, with the shares exceeding EUR0.50, the price at which they opened today's session.

Compagnia Immobiliare Azionaria pays duty on the stock market after several positive weeks, giving up 17 percent, with shares down more than a cent - to EUR0.05 - by early afternoon today.
