St Peter Port Capital Limited is a closed-ended investment company. The Company primarily invests in unquoted companies, which are close to a liquidity event. It seeks to generate value by investing in growth companies shortly before an initial public offering (IPO) or other exit event. Its principal focus is on companies targeting the United Kingdom, the United States and Commonwealth stock markets although pre-IPO companies looking to float on other exchanges are also considered. It holds investments in several technology companies, including three-dimensional (3D) television, software for gaming on mobile devices and biotechnology. In resources, it has companies in oil and gas, and minerals, including copper, nickel, uranium and coal. It also has soft commodity companies, including the farmland owner in Uruguay, a plantation company with timber in Mozambique and a potash mine development in Brazil. St Peter Port Investment Management Limited is its investment manager.
