Approach to Reporting and Scope of Reporting:

This Sustainability Report published by SPRC and has been prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards: Core option. We account this on an annual basis. The boundary of reporting of SPRC information remains unchanged from the previous sustainability report 2021. The reporting period of information and data covers a 12-month period from the 1st January 2022 to the 31st December 2022.

Along with SPRC's 2022 56-1 One Report, this document communicates to stakeholders how we balance our financial goals along with our Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) commitments. The report shows the ways in which we conduct our business in an environmentally friendly and socially responsible manner.

This report is also an opportunity to address our performance and progress towards our sustainability targets, which help us create long-term value for all our stakeholders.

Each of the 10 material issues identified in our materiality matrix are addressed and reported in this report. We adhere to the quality principles of accuracy, balance, clarity, comparability, reliability, and timeliness. We undertake a systematic procedure in obtaining data and ensure that it is in accordance with GRI Standards. SPRC continues to report data against our targets in a transparent manner, to provide a balanced and accessible view of our impacts and contributions over time.

I am pleased to introduce SPRC 2022 Sustainability Report, the report describes SPRC's ongoing sustainability journey managing economic, environmental, and social dimensions.

On January 25, 2022, SPRC experienced an unprecedented crude oil spill from a SPM sub-sea hose failure and SPRC deeply regrets the associated impacts on communities and the environment. During the time of incident, the company received a lot of support and assistance from personnel at all levels as well as from external parties, domestic and international, towards minimizing impacts. The company has advanced relief claims of those affected by the oil spill and has engaged relevant government agencies and experts to assess any impact to the ecosystems and develop restoration plans as appropriate.

Our One Caring Family Culture and Core Values are the foundation for all that we do at SPRC. They shape our business practices and our commitment to sustainability. Sustainability is critical to SPRC's business success. Long-term growth in consideration of energy transition and value creation will allow us to support the energy security of the region for many years to come. We are committed to creating value for all stakeholders including shareholders, employees, customers, suppliers, business partners and the communities in which we operate.

We remain committed to operate in the most safe, reliable and environmentally friendly way. Our ambition is to meet customer demands, whilst minimizing impacts to the environment and maximizing positive impacts to employees, contractors, and communities. We are proud of our sustainability impacts through our aspiration "We do everything with Care and Responsibility". This includes ensuring that all our employees go home safely every day, supporting a healthy planet for future generations and supporting a better quality of life for our local communities and the world.

Looking forward, SPRC will need to respond to external societal shifts to ensure long-term success. Challenges including climate change and a lower carbon future, growing our organizational capability to meeting ever changing demands, and improving our reliability and efficiency. In Q4 the SPRC Board Of Directors made a recommendation to shareholders to move forward with an investment opportunity in the fuel business to extend our value chain connection to our customers. We recognize our role and responsibility concerning these topics and are committed to addressing the opportunities through our corporate strategy, in collaboration with our strategic partners. SPRC is further developing our sustainability strategy to guide our ambitions going forward.

We will make progress together by partnering with our stakeholders. Our performance on the sustainability topics in this report is made possible through collaboration with employees, suppliers, customers, communities, and other partners as "One Caring Family". On behalf of the SPRC Family, I thank our stakeholders for their continued partnership during 2022 and look forward to continuing our sustainability work together in 2023.
