Steelcast Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was INR 903.13 million compared to INR 1,197.26 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 908.19 million compared to INR 1,197.96 million a year ago. Net income was INR 174.23 million compared to INR 192.81 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 8.61 compared to INR 9.53 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 8.61 compared to INR 9.53 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was INR 3,114.14 million compared to INR 3,565.14 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 3,127.8 million compared to INR 3,575.16 million a year ago. Net income was INR 562.94 million compared to INR 509.8 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 27.81 compared to INR 25.19 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 27.81 compared to INR 25.19 a year ago.
Steelcast Limited is an India-based manufacturer of steel and alloy steel castings. The Company specializes in the manufacture of products for mission-critical applications. It is engaged in catering to a host of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for industry sectors, such as earth moving, mining and mineral processing, railway, steel plants, cement, energy, valves and pumps, electro locomotive, aerobridge, oil exploration, shipping, and general engineering.
