Las Vegas 07/28/2022 Eco Allies announced today that Dimitri Rakopoulos has joined the Eco Allies Board of Directors with immediate effect.

Dimitri is a seasoned Executive, with Academic Background in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration He completed his studies at Queen Mary College and City University in London U.K.

During his business tenure he has held various positions from Running Plastics processing plants producing PE, PP and PVC related products. Dimitri gradually raised to the CEO position of the Group.

Dimitri maintained his business activities based both in Europe and the U.S. between 1993 and 2010 at which time he moved all his business operations base in the U.S.

As an Executive, Dimitri headed teams in the Design of Advanced Oil and Gas Downstream projects, advanced Fuels coming on stream between 2020 and 2050 and for the last 5 years he has been actively involved in the integrated design of Projects related with Energy Transition and Climate Mitigation.

Dimitri monitors all Innovative technologies around Carbon Capturing and Sequestration, working closely with the R&D Departments of DOE funded Universities in the United States, major corporations offering Power Generation Solutions using Green Hydrogen as the next generation of net zero emission fuel for Industries where the Power requirement is high. (Shipping, Aviation, Mining).

This deep knowledge of how Innovative Technologies contribute in the acceleration of Energy Transition and the path to Carbon Zero, in conjunction with the Business Experience in both Macro and Micromanaging Industrial Operations makes Dimitri a valuable team member to help the in the Organic Growth plans of Eco Allies.

Dimitri brings with him practical experience in the Integrated approach of Carbon Emission reduction projects, including but not limited to:

Nature Based Projects (Forestry)

Renewable Energy Projects (Solar, Wind, Hydroelectric, Green Hydrogen, Waste to Energy)

Low Carbon Fuel Standard Projects

Coastal Wetland Restoration Projects

Nature Based Products via which Biomass Fuel or Feedstock is produced

Recycling Projects

His experience is International and Includes the U.S., The E.U. and the U.K.

The above, in conjunction with his familiarity with the Registries approved by UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) that authorize the issuance of Carbon Offsets for Carbon Negative Projects, makes Dimitri's contribution an asset for the projects that ECO ALLIES plans to bring on stream in the near future.
