Stove Kraft Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was INR 3,797.67 million compared to INR 4,062.01 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 3,800.89 million compared to INR 4,053.65 million a year ago. Net income was INR 165.25 million compared to INR 259 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 5 compared to INR 7.88 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 5 compared to INR 7.81 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was INR 6,775.12 million compared to INR 6,812.66 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 6,794.55 million compared to INR 6,789.67 million a year ago. The Company is engaged in the manufacture and retail of a suite of kitchen and home solutions under the brand names Pigeon, Gilma and BLACK+DECKER. The Company operates through the Kitchen and Home Appliances segment. It is also engaged primarily in the business of the manufacture of pressure cookers, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) stoves, non-stick cookware, and trading of other kitchen and electrical appliances. It provides post-sales services in relation to a range of products, such as blenders and juicers, breakfast appliances, small cooking appliances and small domestic appliances. Its kitchen solutions include emergency lamps, water bottles, flasks, aluminum ladders, mops and storage boxes. The Company has a separate distribution spread across 10 states for Black+Decker. The Company has two manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru, Karnataka and Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.
