Sun A.Kaken Company,Limited (JASDAQ:4234) entered into an agreement to acquire 51% stake in Shinomura Kagaku Kogyo Co., Ltd from Oji Functional Materials Business Promotion Center Co., Ltd on August 31, 2020. Under the terms of the transaction, 0.04 million shares will be acquired. Shinomura Kagaku reported total assets of ¥ 2.2 billion, total assets of ¥4.1 billion and sales of ¥4.2 billion for the year ended March 2020. The transaction is expected to close on October 1, 2020.
