The Board of Suncorp Group Limited (Suncorp) has announced changes including the retirement of Dr. Doug McTaggart in December 2023 and the proposed appointment of Ms. Gillian Brown in early 2024. Suncorp Group Chairman Christine McLoughlin AM said that Dr. McTaggart had made a significant contribution to Suncorp since his appointment in 2012, following a distinguished career in the Queensland Public Service including serving as Under Treasurer and CEO of the Queensland Investment Corporation. Ms. McLoughlin also welcomed the appointment to the Board of Brisbane-based Ms Brown, a highly experienced non-executive director with extensive risk management, legal and regulatory expertise in financial services, as well as strong credentials in managing Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives.

Ms. Brown's appointment as a Director will take effect in late February 2024 following registration under the Banking Executive Accountability Regime. Her career history is attached.
