Synsam AB (publ) reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was SEK 1,566 million compared to SEK 1,399 million a year ago. Revenue was SEK 1,584 million compared to SEK 1,415 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 140 million compared to SEK 97 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 0.94 compared to SEK 0.65 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was SEK 2,977 million compared to SEK 2,585 million a year ago. Revenue was SEK 3,009 million compared to SEK 2,619 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 159 million compared to SEK 196 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 1.07 compared to SEK 1.31 a year ago.
Synsam AB (publ) is a Sweden-based lifestyle company in optical retail and eye health. The Company operates stores in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands.
