Tekfen Holding Anonim Sirketi announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TRY 2,693.241 million compared to TRY 2,990.932 million a year ago. Operating loss was TRY 143.805 million compared to operating Income of TRY 323.125 million a year ago. Net loss was TRY 14.587 million compared to net income of TRY 258.402 million a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TRY 8,373.588 million compared to TRY 11,296.815 million a year ago. Operating loss was TRY 75.617 million compared to operating Income of TRY 1,606.614 million a year ago. Net income was TRY 130.661 million compared to TRY 1,440.288 million a year ago.
Tekfen Holding AS (Tekfen) is a Turkey-based holding company active in various sectors, such as construction, agriculture, finance and real estate through its affiliates and subsidiaries. The Company operates five segments: Contracting, Agri-Industry, Real Estate Development, Banking and Investment and Services. Tekfenâs Contracting Groupâs activities include infrastructural and industrial projects in several countries, like Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Morocco, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman and Bulgaria.
