Tekfen Holding Anonim Sirketi reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TRY 8,707.54 million compared to TRY 8,222.97 million a year ago. Net income was TRY 335.44 million compared to TRY 735.54 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TRY 0.907 compared to TRY 1.988 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TRY 26,772.41 million compared to TRY 21,218.11 million a year ago. Net income was TRY 472.27 million compared to TRY 1,813.15 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TRY 1.276 compared to TRY 4.9 a year ago.
Tekfen Holding AS (Tekfen) is a Turkey-based holding company active in various sectors, such as construction, agriculture, finance and real estate through its affiliates and subsidiaries. The Company operates five segments: Contracting, Agri-Industry, Real Estate Development, Banking and Investment and Services. Tekfenâs Contracting Groupâs activities include infrastructural and industrial projects in several countries, like Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Morocco, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman and Bulgaria. Tekfen also engages in the production of chemical fertilizers, seed and seedlings, along with power generation and terminal operations.
