Telia Norway recently came out on top in what was Norway's biggest ever independent test of the Norwegian mobile networks, carried out by TEK.no, Noway's leading tech site. The team at TEK.no travelled 5000 kilometers and carried out over 2000 tests from 350 locations to accurately pin-point which operator had the country's best coverage.

'We are extremely proud of the results of this test', says Abraham Foss, CEO of Telia Norway 'This is only the beginning. We're now ready for the next step where, together with our customers and partners, we will continue creating unique experiences for our customers to ensure that Norway remains at the forefront of digital innovation.'

Since 2014, Telia Norway has carried out substantial mobile coverage expansions where, in record time, the company has reached a stage where it provides 96 per cent of the population with 4G. Over 2500 4G stations have been modernized and brought into use over the last two years, and network expansions will continue in the same pace throughout 2016. In addition to continued modernization of base stations, the plan is to open 500 completely new ones.
