Thanapiriya Public Company Limited Approves Dividend for the Year 2018, Payable on May 10, 2019; Announces Retirement of Directors

Thanapiriya Public Company Limited at its board meeting held on February 21, 2019, approved the dividend payment based on the operating result of 2018 to shareholders (Amount 800,000,000 shares) at THB 0.035 per share, totaling THB 28,000,000. After deducting the interim dividend payment of THB 0.015 per share, totaling THB 12,000,000 which was paid to shareholders on 3 September 2018, the dividend will be paid at THB 0.020 per share or THB 16,000,000. The Company will determine the name list of shareholders having right to receive the dividend for this period on March 8, 2019. The dividend payment of this period will be paid on May 10, 2019. Thus, the rights of receiving the dividend are uncertainty since it has to be approved at the AGM of shareholders. The Board of Directors will propose to the AGM of Shareholders for further approval.
The board of directors also approved proposing to the Shareholders' Meeting to consider and approve the election of directors in replacement of two retiring directors as; Mr. Pisanu Kantipong; Mrs. Amorn Phutthiphiriya.
Thanapiriya Public Company Limited is a Thailand-based company, which operates retail and wholesale superstores. The Company has 42 branches, being classified into supermarkets for 41 branches, wholesale center for one branch. The Companyâs segment is wholesale and retail of consumer goods. Its products are in five categories: household products, including detergent, fabric softener, dishwashing liquid floor mopping liquid dishes, bowls, cutlery incense, and candles; personal care product, including shampoo, conditioner, soap, shower cream, toothpaste, powder, roll-on, cologne, sanitary napkins, tissues and styling products; drinks and dried food, including tea, coffee, milk, drinking water, snack food sauces, vegetable oils, sugar, canned food, canned fruits, instant noodles and fruit juices; Cosmetics and Supplements, including skin creams, foundation creams, lipsticks and modern home medicines; and baby care product, including powdered milk, baby food, diapers and water pads.
