What. Is. Happening!? Every day, every journalist at The New York Times is looking for the answer to that question. So what are they finding? They're finding out that trees are talking to each other. They're finding out about a new administration's intentions for the first hundred days. They're finding out what's for dinner in the Arctic. They're finding out how to live on a hotter planet.

From our biggest challenges to our quirkiest questions, New York Times journalism can help us understand the world around us. This is the central idea behind the next wave of ads from 'Life Needs Truth,' our ad campaign that shines a light on how reporting can help us navigate all facets of life.

Whether it's helping with life at home; navigating a new economy; keeping current with culture; tracking a new administration; or understanding the vaccines, the new wave of ads from our campaign highlights how The Times can help readers navigate the biggest stories of the day and find moments of discovery and relief.

The campaign was developed in collaboration with creative agency Droga5 and media agency Hearts & Science. The campaign also features audio, digital and print ads created by The Times's internal creative team. It kicks off today and runs through the first week of April.

The Times first introduced its 'Life Needs Truth' campaign last summer in an effort to highlight the power of Times journalism to help us all navigate a time of mass uncertainty.
