The Shanghai Commercial & Savings Bank, Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported net interest income was TWD 9,128.38 million compared to TWD 6,575.98 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 5,732.27 million compared to TWD 3,594.9 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.28 compared to TWD 0.8 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.28 compared to TWD 0.8 a year ago.
For the nine months, net interest income was TWD 23,667.57 million compared to TWD 19,942.48 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 12,988.84 million compared to TWD 10,899.05 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.91 compared to TWD 2.44 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.9 compared to TWD 2.44 a year ago.
The Shanghai Commercial & Savings Bank, Ltd. is a Taiwan-based private bank.
