The Shanghai Commercial & Savings Bank, Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported net interest income was TWD 9,814.26 million compared to TWD 7,789.21 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 5,509.57 million compared to TWD 3,615.77 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.13 compared to TWD 0.81 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.13 compared to TWD 0.81 a year ago.
For the six months, net interest income was TWD 18,671.13 million compared to TWD 14,539.19 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 9,769.76 million compared to TWD 7,256.57 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.01 compared to TWD 1.62 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.01 compared to TWD 1.62 a year ago.
The Shanghai Commercial & Savings Bank, Ltd. is a Taiwan-based private bank.
