The St. Joe Company announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Park Brady, will be retiring after three years of dedicated service and outstanding contributions to St. Joe and its community.
Mr. Brady, who has resigned as Chief Executive Officer and as a director as of August 14, 2014 will stay available to St. Joe as a special advisor pursuant to a three-year consulting agreement. The company will be commencing a search for a new Chief Executive Officer to implement the next stages of its long-term development plans, and the board plans to appoint a permanent replacement by year end.
During the search, Jeffrey C. Keil, an independent Director of St. Joe since 2011, will serve as President and Interim CEO of the company.
The St. Joe Company is a real estate development, asset management and operating company. The Company owns 168,000 acres of land in Northwest Florida. Its segments include residential, hospitality and commercial. Residential Segment develops communities into homesites for sale to homebuilders and on a limited basis to retail customers.
