Toronto-Dominion Bank said Thursday that Kelvin Tran will become TD Bank Group's chief financial officer, as part of a number of executive-team changes.

The Canadian banking and financial services company said Mr. Tran, who is currently executive vice president of enterprise finance, has more than 20 years' experience with TD, including in roles such as chief auditor and chief accountant, as well as CFO of TD Securities.

The company also said that Bob Dorrance will retire from his roles as chief executive officer and president of TD Securities. Mr. Dorrance will remain in his role as chairman of TD Securities, it said.

Riaz Ahmed, current group head and chief financial officer of TD Bank Group, will become group head of Wholesale Banking and CEO and president of TD Securities, the company said.

Mr. Ahmed has been a member of the bank's senior executive team since 2009, and has served as group CFO since 2016.

Corrections & Amplifications

This article was corrected at 09:58 a.m. ET because the original incorrectly said the changes were to the board, rather than only to the executive team. Also, Mr. Ahmed's full new duties weren't included.
