The Willbes & CO., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 72,572.08 million compared to KRW 68,820.76 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 248.63 million compared to KRW 7,698.97 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 4 compared to KRW 125 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 16 compared to KRW 125 a year ago. For the six months, sales was KRW 246.56 million compared to KRW 264.35 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 280.62 million compared to net loss of KRW 8,461.87 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 4 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of KRW 137 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 4 compared to KRW 137 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 4 compared to basic loss per share of KRW 137 a year ago. THE WILLBES & CO., LTD. is a Korea-based original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of textiles. The Company operates in two business divisions: fiber division and education division. Its fiber division provides knits, sweaters, woven products, microfibers and others, through its oversea subsidiaries. Its education division provides education services to various individuals, such as lawyers, diplomats, government officials, appraisers, labor attorneys and others. The Company mainly supplies its textile products to TARGET, OLD NAVY and WAL MART. On May 31, 2013, the Company acquired 100% shares of a Korea-based company, which is mainly engaged in the educational institute operations.
