TienPin United Enterprise CO., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 16.876 million compared to TWD 7.655 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 129,000 compared to operating loss of TWD 3.383 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 87.586 million compared to TWD 1.698 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.42 compared to TWD 0.03 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 32.149 million compared to TWD 19.927 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 76,000 compared to operating loss of TWD 4.201 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 85.009 million compared to net loss of TWD 1.705 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.38 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.03 a year ago.
TienPin United Enterprise CO., LTD (formerly: DataFab Systems Inc.) is engaged in the research, development, design, manufacture, assembly, testing and distribution of computer peripheral products. The Company provides card readers, adapters, express cards, liquid crystal displays, multimedia players, flash memory cards, as well as liquid crystal displays (LCDs), among others. During the year ended December 31, 2011, the Company obtained approximately 70.39% of its revenue from its card reader business. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including the Americas, the rest of Asia and Europe.
