Tohbu Network Co., Ltd. announced a private placement to issue 440,000 common shares at an issue price of ¥ 939 per share for the gross proceeds of ¥413,160,000 on November 14, 2023.. The transaction will include participation from new investors Maruzen Showa Unyu Co., Ltd. 340,000 shares and Hokuriku Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. 100,000 shares. The transaction has been approved by the shareholders of the company and is expected to close on November 30, 2023.
The company has disclosed the issue expenses of ¥7,000,000 and the net proceeds is ¥406,160,000.
TOHBU NETWORK CO.,LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in freight truck transport, merchandise sale, real estate leasing and other businesses. The Company operates through four business segments. The Lorry Transportation segment is engaged in the development of transportation network from the Tohoku region to the Kinki region, as well as the provision of transportation services for various products. In addition, the Company provides bulk ordering services such as cargo storage operations and distribution center operations according to customer demand. The Merchandise Sale segment is mainly engaged in the sale and leasing of petroleum products, cement and vehicles.
