Tourism Holdings Limited announced the appointment of Jo Allison to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer for the existing businesses with in its portfolio. Jo has been part of the Spark Digital leadership team as Chief Operating Officer for the past five years and has held multiple other senior roles within the Spark (formerly Telecom) group. Jo is a leader with global experience and is also currently a director of the Kiwi Expat Association (KEA).

The responsibilities with in the role include all the currently wholly owned operating businesses (excluding the joint venture operations) in New Zealand, Australia and the United States. Jo will report to Grant Webster, CEO, and will commence fulltime with the business on 1 December 2015. The company also announced the appointment of Brett Morris as General Manager Human Resources, reporting to Jo Allison.

Brett has broad HR experience in businesses such as Orion Health Group and Air New Zealand. Brett will start with the business in early October. These positions are part of building capacity and capability within the business to assist with growth.
