Tung Ho Textile Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 208.874 million compared to TWD 107.463 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 1.513 million compared to operating loss of TWD 36.858 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 21.187 million compared to TWD 103.665 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.1 compared to TWD 0.47 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 652.799 million compared to TWD 484.130 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 8.260 million compared to operating loss of TWD 30.288 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 36.807 million compared to TWD 106.794 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.17 compared to TWD 0.49 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.17 compared to TWD 0.48 a year ago.

The Company operates through two segments, including yarn segment and investment segment. The Yarn segment is engaged in the manufacture and sales of yarn products. Its yarn products include cotton yarns, blended yarns, environmental friendly yarns, as well as blended yarns with special raw materials or weaved by special methods, such as slub yarns. The Investment segment is engaged in the construction of residential properties for rental and for sale. The Company operates businesses in Taiwan, China and Hong Kong.
