Ülker Bisküvi Sanayi A.S. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TRY 5,991.04 million compared to TRY 2,659.07 million a year ago. Net loss was TRY 648.64 million compared to net income of TRY 221.05 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TRY 1.9 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TRY 0.65 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TRY 11,877.06 million compared to TRY 5,442.82 million a year ago. Net loss was TRY 1,119.34 million compared to net income of TRY 652.2 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TRY 3.27 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TRY 1.91 a year ago.
