Fringe81, Inc. announced that it has received ¥420 million in a round of funding on February 21, 2015. The round included participation from Style Capital, NTT Docomo Ventures, Gree, Dentsu Innovation Partners Inc., and TBS Innovation Partners. As part of the transaction, NTT Docomo Ventures invested in the company through its fund.
The company issued common shares in the transaction.
Unipos Inc, formerly Fringe81 Co Ltd, is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the development and consultation of Internet advertising technology, as well as the provision of Website services mainly in human resources (HR) tech fields. The advertising business includes advertising agency service, media growth service and solution service. The advertising agency service is involved in the sale of Internet advertisements. The media growth service is involved in the provision of planning, development and operation of advertising goods for smartphone media including applications. The solution service is involved in the provision of advertising strategyâs decision-making support products for advertisers who receive Internet advertising. The Unipos business is involved in the provision of a service named Unipos for mutual evaluation and praise.
