Universal Microelectronics Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,076.751 million compared to TWD 884.878 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 40.318 million compared to operating loss of TWD 5.998 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 37.282 million compared to net loss of TWD 43.329 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.29 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.34 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 2,719.758 million compared to TWD 2,695.566 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 20.323 million compared to TWD 74.716 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 34.942 million compared to TWD 107.793 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.27 compared to TWD 0.85 a year ago.
